True Blue Training Solutions (TBTS) was established in 2013 to meet the needs of businesses requiring bespoke training, without necessarily following the more formalized offerings of large scale/academic providers. TBTS became a Limited Partnership in 2022.

Based in the West of Cornwall, but covering most areas of the UK (subject specific), with clients as far afield as Aberdeen, Belfast, London and Cardiff. TBTS(LP) acts as a training provider, business consultancy and collaborative training resource provider.

Using experienced, qualified, industry and education professionals from a wide business spectrum, TBTS(LP) offers training and consultancy in business skills such as:

John Shaw MBE, FCMI, FInstLM

Partner and Senior Consultant

Extensive experience over 40 years in training delivery at all levels, in both Public and Private sectors. John manages the Client Training Needs Analysis and contract specifications.

Specialising in Leadership, Management and Project Management, John is qualified at PGCE level in Adult Education, with Fellowships awarded from both the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

John was awarded the MBE in 2003 for leadership and humanitarian work within the Armed Forces. He also has HE/FE, NHS, Construction and Hospitality background experience and is an England RFU First Aid Trainer

Jo Arnold-Mayes BEd(Hons), NPQSL

Partner and Training Manager

With nearly 30 years experience in Education and training delivery, gaining NPQSL status in Senior Leadership, Jo manages the training logistics and delivery, plus the scheduling of our trainers. Specialising in First Aid, Sports First Aid, Mental Health, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene. Jo is also a SWAS First Responder.
